MOORESVILLE, N.C. (March 31, 2011) – ALL SPORT Body Quencher will join forces with Tommy Baldwin Racing at Martinsville Speedway this weekend. TBR driver Dave Blaney will pilot the No. 36 ALL SPORT Body Quencher Chevrolet in the Goody’s Fast Relief 500 on Sunday, April 3rd.

ALL SPORT, a subsidiary of Big Red, Inc., is one of the nation’s leading sports drinks and has an extensive history in motorsports, including Tommy Kendall’s Championship in the Trans Am series. Launched in 1937, Big Red, with its distinctive flavor and widespread distribution in 44 states, was one of the nation’s fastest growing soft drink brands in 2010. Big Red and ALL SPORT have held key sponsorships in many professional sports, including the PGA, LPGA, MLS, NBA, NFL and MLB, and actively participate in various youth development grassroots sports programs such as cycling, soccer and baseball.

“I’ve known Tommy for a long time and have tremendous respect for him and his program,” said Gary Smith, CEO of Big Red, Inc. “We are looking forward to a great race this weekend.”

Tommy Baldwin Racing has overcome adversity in the first five races of the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season and is fighting for a spot inside the top-35 in owner points. The team’s best finish came at Bristol Motor Speedway when Blaney drove the No. 36 Accell Construction Chevrolet to a 25th-place finish. The TBR team also had a strong run in the Daytona 500 where the No. 36 Golden Corral Chevrolet ran up front and led laps before a late-race incident ended the team’s day early.

“I am very thrilled to have ALL SPORT come on board for Martinsville,” explained TBR owner Tommy Baldwin. “Our team is working very hard preparing cars each week, as well as working to find sponsorship so we can run more races. Anytime we can put a deal together that helps both parties is a good day for us. ALL SPORT has been in racing for awhile now, and we are proud to represent them this weekend at Martinsville.”

Blaney will hit the track in the No. 36 ALL SPORT Body Quencher Chevrolet Friday at 12:30 p.m. EST for practice. The TBR team will attempt to qualify for the Goody’s Fast Relief 500 on Saturday, April 2nd at 12:10 p.m. EST. The 500-lap event will be held Sunday, April 3rd at 1 p.m. EST.

About Tommy Baldwin Racing:

Tommy Baldwin Racing was formed in 2009 by NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Crew Chief Tommy Baldwin. Baldwin utilized a slumping economy to open a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team for a fraction of the cost. The team competed in two full seasons with multiple drivers behind the wheel of the No. 36 Chevrolet and improved in the standings each year.

Based in Mooresville, N.C., TBR will compete in the full NASCAR Sprint Cup schedule in 2011 with NASCAR veteran Dave Blaney piloting the No. 36 Tommy Baldwin Racing Chevrolet. Looking to improve on-track performance and increase the number of races they complete, TBR is still seeking partners to support their racing efforts. TBR’s driver development program, Heinke-Baldwin Racing, will also compete in various NASCAR series in 2011.

  1. Glad to here about sponsorship (tell all sport i am going out and buying a case right now for the races this weekend). Now kick that “buckeye bullet” in the kiester and tell him to pass or rub somebody out of the way.Good luck TBR!!!

  2. I’ll be drinking ALL SPORT all week. I’ve sent out approximately 250 emails informing family, friends, co-workers, and business associates to purchase at least six bottles of ALL SPORT in support of TBR. Thank you to Mr. Gary Smith. TBR and it’s employees are your target demographic. They understand the psycological and physical challenges sports teams and athletes face. TBR also understands the economic challenges currenly facing the American public. The adverse economic conditions faced by team, employee, and fan create a strong and loyal bond. It is quite rare in this day and age that you can say a sports team truly identifies with it’s fanbase and the American public as a whole. I believe thats exactly the kind of unique oppourtunity most businesses look to invest in. Thank you ALL SPORT, I hope Mr. Gary Smith will consider extending his business relationship with TBR.

  3. i think its great to have all sport as a sponsor i hope it leads to more races i hope dave has a good weekend good luck to TBR keep finding all these great sponsors to keep this great team racing
