Special Charlie Jarzombek Scheme Planned With “Laps For Noelle” Decals on 7NY
Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) announced today a new event added to the schedule for Luke Baldwin for the 2024 season. Luke will pilot the historic Tommy Baldwin Racing No. 7NY Tour-Type Modified at Riverhead Raceway on Saturday, August 17, for the running of the Baldwin/Evans/Jarzombek 77 on Wall of Fame night. The paint scheme for this event - a “Charging” Charlie Jarzombek tribute scheme - will help support a special initiative through RaceForKids.com. TBR is helping to support RaceForKids.com and their important “Laps For Noelle” initiative they have ongoing. Noelle is a six-year-old who has been diagnosed with stage four osteosarcoma and there is a mass located on her left leg and multiple masses in her lungs. She is currently undergoing chemo and will have to have her femur bone removed. The Laps For Noelle decals will be on the quarter-panels and rear-panel of the 7NY for this event. At the end of the race, TBR will auction off the doors, quarter-panels and rear panels from the car. All of the money raised will be donated to help Noelle cover medical expenses. Tommy Baldwin Racing is also selling a special tribute t-shirt, with all proceeds also going to the cause for Noelle. RaceForKids.com, created by young rising driver Darren Krantz Jr., creates a world where every child has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of the obstacles they face. “We are really appreciative of everything that Darren Krantz Jr. and the team at RaceForKids.com are doing to help Noelle and all children in need. Having a special Charlie Jarzombek scheme on the car and having it support Noelle’s journey – this will be a proud moment for all of short-track racing,” Tommy Baldwin Jr. said. “We hope everyone will help get behind the cause and buy a t-shirt and contribute to the auction for the doors and quarter panels, so we can donate as much as possible.” Prior to Riverhead, the Bugsy Stevens tribute scheme will return on the 7NY for one more upcoming event. The scheme will be in place for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park on Wednesday, August 14, with six-time Tour champion Doug Coby behind the wheel. From there, the Tommy Baldwin Racing team will change the scheme to the Charlie Jarzombek special and roll to Riverhead on the 17th with Luke Baldwin.
