Luke Baldwin Seals SMART Modified Tour Title with Sadler-Stanley Racing

Luke Baldwin entered the 2024 season looking to become the Rookie of the Year on the SMART Modified Tour. In the end, Baldwin did even better. Wheeling the Pace-O-Matic No. 7VA for Sadler-Stanley Racing, Baldwin captured the SMART Modified Tour title Saturday in the season-finale at North Wilkesboro Speedway.

Baldwin finished third in the 99-lap main event, enough to best the other four contenders racing him for the title. The 18-year-old North Carolina native posted two wins and countless top-fives during an impressive rookie season that ended with the championship trophy.

“I can’t put it into words,” Baldwin said. “I just can’t thank everyone enough. It’s been a year filled with ups and downs. We could have had five or six wins as a team if it wasn’t for me being so inexperienced. It still doesn’t feel real. I’ll remember this one forever for sure.”
