Tommy Baldwin Racing to Run Sprint Showdown This Weekend

Reutimann and Raines to compete at Charlotte Motor Speedway

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (May 11, 2012) – Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) will compete in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) Sprint Showdown this weekend. Looking for some important track time, TBR will utilize the weekend to continue to build the team’s 1.5-mile program.

Due to commitments to his NASCAR K&N Pro Series team at Iowa Speedway, Dave Blaney will not compete in the event. Tony Raines will get behind the wheel of the No. 36 Chevrolet and help the team get practice time at the 1.5-mile speedway. David Reutimann will also return to the No. 10 Chevrolet for the event.

Solid Day for Tommy Baldwin Racing at Darlington Raceway

Blaney finished 27th in the No. 36 SealWrap Chevrolet

DARLINGTON, S.C. (May 14, 2012) – Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) looked to have a solid finish in the Bojangles Southern 500 on Saturday night. Dave Blaney drove to the 34th-place starting spot in Friday’s qualifying. The No. 36 SealWrap team worked on the handling all night and made strides to make the car better. Blaney finished in 27th place in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) primetime event.

TALLADEGA, Ala. (May 7, 2012) – Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) visited Talladega Superspeedway, typically a good track for the team, this weekend and was optimistic for two good finishes. Pit problems relegated David Reutimann and the No. 10 Chevrolet to a 22nd-place finish in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) event. A nine-car incident on lap 144 relegated Dave Blaney and the No. 36 Golden Corral/Camp Corral Chevrolet to a 30th-place finish in the Aaron’s 499.

Promising Night at Richmond International Raceway Ends in Disappointment for Tommy Baldwin Racing

Blaney finished 29th and Reutimann finished 33rd

RICHMOND, Va. (April 30, 2012) – Following top-25 finishes in both races at Richmond International Raceway (RIR) last year, Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) had high hopes for two solid finishes. Unfortunately, that was not in the cards in Saturday’s Primetime race. David Reutimann battled handling issues during the 400-lap event and finished in 33rd place, after starting in the same position. Dave Blaney, who started from the 17th position, fell two laps down early and could not make up the laps when the team fixed the handling of his No. 36 SealWrap Chevrolet. He finished 29th in the Capital City 400 presented by Virginia Is For Lovers.

(January 25, 2012) – Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) expands NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) program with the addition of Ryan Truex and Bobby Santos, who will split driving duties with Ryan Blaney. MOORESVILLE, N.C. (January 18, 2012) – Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) signed Ryan Blaney to compete in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS). The 18-year-old will get behind the wheel of the No. 36 SealWrap Repair Tape Chevrolet and compete in six events throughout the season with his debut set for April 27 at Richmond International Raceway. Blaney will also run six NASCAR K&N Pro Series (NKNPS) races in his family-owned DB Racing No. 10 SealWrap Repair Tape/Heavy Duty Industrial Services machine, beginning at Bristol Motor Speedway March 17, and Trent Owen will return as crew chief for the NKNPS car.
