Baldwin Brothers To Race For Keith Rocco Racing at Stafford

Jack Set For Three SK Modified Events; Luke Set For Three SK Light Modified Races

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Tommy Baldwin Racing announced today a partnership with Keith Rocco Racing to put both Luke and Jack Baldwin behind the wheel of Modifieds for three events at Connecticut’s Stafford Motor Speedway.

Luke Baldwin will pilot an SK Light Modified for Rocco, while Jack Baldwin will be behind the wheel of one of the SK Modifieds inside the stable. Both drivers will race on June 23, August 4 and September 8.

“It’s a good opportunity for both of them to get to one of the most competitive weekly tracks in the entire country and race in two impressive divisions,” Tommy Baldwin said. “Stafford’s SK Modifieds and SK Light Modifieds need no introduction. Both have some of the best rising Modified drivers in New England and both have multiple winners each year and impressive groups of champions. We’re excited to see both Luke and Jack continue their Modified career with these events this summer.”

In the SK Modifieds for Jack Baldwin, all three events mark extra-distance. On June 23, the SK Modifieds will compete in the Senator’s Cup, set for 50 laps. On August 4, the 10th annual NAPA SK 5K returns to the track for 100 laps. On September 8, the 40-lap main event will be followed by the TC Shootout for the top-13 finishers in the field during the regular event. The TC Shootout is a 13-lap race in honor of the late, great Modified star Ted Christopher.

“Racing in the SK Modifieds at Stafford Motor Speedway certainly will be considered the pinnacle of my Modified career so far,” Jack Baldwin said. “With the talent they have in that division and the competition where it is right now with names like Jimmy Blewett, Keith Rocco, Mike Christopher Jr. and more… it’s going to be something special to race against them this season – especially in a car prepared by Rocco.”

Luke Baldwin’s competition in the SK Light Modifieds will come in the car that Jack drove at Stafford during the Spring Sizzler in the division back in May. All three of the SK Light Modified races are slated for 20 laps. Luke has already pocketed a championship in the Crate Modified division at New Smyrna Speedway during the World Series back in February.

“To go to another race track where my family has such a rich history, it’s an awesome feeling,” Luke Baldwin said. “I’m really excited to finally get the New England Modified experience in such a competitive division at Stafford. I’m even more excited to be driving for a guy like Keith Rocco – a champion and one of the best to do it in weekly racing competition at Stafford.”

Stafford Motor Speedway runs weekly Friday night racing from April to September each year. Tommy Baldwin Racing competed in the NAPA Spring Sizzler in April with Doug Coby, finishing third in the prestigious event. The team is also planning to return with the Open Modified for the NAPA Fall Final in September with Mike Christopher Jr. behind the wheel.
